“I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I’ve always enjoyed drawing, painting, fashion, and exploring other types of media and self expression through art. Not only that, but it is an outlet for my spiritual and mental growth. I grew up in a Christian household, but my faith became a much bigger and centred part of my life after I went on a youth mission trip to Montreal. My walk with God is only just beginning, but I believe that He has a plan to work through me and my art! I believe that God speaks through me and my art, and I feel connected with the Holy Spirit when I am creating. …I have created two pieces that are centred around the concept of baptism and transformation. I used colour and shape in my pieces to convey an idea of how God views us. I plan to use my gift in my post secondary education at AUArts! (previously known as ACAD) If all goes as planned, I will have a career in Graphic Design by the time finished. I am so excited to see what the future holds and what God has in store!”
