What is Child Dedication?
We believe the dedication of children to the Lord is the first step of a child’s journey toward God and an act of faith and devotion by parent(s). While it does not secure a child’s salvation, it marks the beginning of their spiritual journey.
Child Dedication Celebrations at FAC allow parent(s) to make a prayerful, earnest declaration to God saying, “You have given this child to me, and I am privileged to entrust this child to You. I trust You with my child’s journey.”. It’s also an opportunity to express profound gratitude to God for your child and express your heart’s desire to do all you can to raise your child to know, love, and serve Jesus.
Offered several times a year, it also allows your family and the church to witness your commitment and, in turn, commit to partner with you along your parenting journey!
