Supporting the community
Together, let’s look for ways to join Jesus in sharing His love and hope in practical ways through local partnerships and volunteer teams in 2025! We’d love to hear from you whether you need help or want to help others.
Here are a few ways you can be part of supporting single moms, seniors, widows, new immigrants and refugees, and those in financial need on an ongoing basis with FAC:
- School Partnerships: Serving local schools through food support, providing school supplies, and in-classroom help.
- Calgary Food Bank Hampers: FAC Deerfoot is a referral agency and pick-up location for food hampers. If you need a referral to receive a food hamper, please contact Michelle Peters. Pick-ups are at the Deerfoot Campus in the new Community Support Centre near the Information Desk (12345 40 Street SE):
- Mondays, 4:30-6:30 pm
- Saturdays, 9:30-11:00 am
- English Conversation Group: Ask about our Monday night group.
